Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating a major milestone — the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance, San Antonio Lodge!
Held at the Old San Francisco Steakhouse, the evening was filled with joy, reflection, and community spirit. We were honored to welcome National President Kin Hui, SAPD Chief William McManus, Councilman Ric Galvan, Councilwoman Ivalis Meza González, and members of the Houston Lodge.
The program began with the Presentation of Colors by the Civil Air Patrol, followed by the National Anthem beautifully sung by Mrs. Stella Rhodes, and an invocation by Secretary Sing Yue. Vice President Christina Lew served as Mistress of Ceremonies, guiding the evening with warmth and poise.
During the celebration, National President Kin Hui presented President Raymond Wong with a $2,000 commemorative “Big Check” in recognition of this historic milestone. Guests were treated to lively performances by the San Antonio Lion Dance Association, erhu musician Eric Vasquez of the Chinese Cultural Performance Association, and live music by a local guitarist to close the night.
It was a truly memorable evening honoring 70 years of service, fellowship, and dedication to our community. We are deeply grateful for everyone’s support and look forward to many more years of preserving our heritage and uplifting our community together.
