The San Antonio Lodge is a chapter of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.), the longest-serving Asian American civil rights organization in the United States.
Founded in 1895, C.A.C.A. has been a steadfast advocate for the rights and civic participation of Chinese Americans.
The San Antonio Lodge (SATX Lodge) was officially chartered on
May 29, 1955, continuing this proud tradition of service and advocacy in the local community.

11 Nov 2025. Annual Veteran's Day Flag Planting
Members continued the Lodge's tradition of planting flags to honor our Chinese American veterans at Mission Park South Cemetery.
28 Sep 2025. San Antonio Lodge 70th Anniversary Gala
This year, our Lodge proudly celebrated its 70th Anniversary at the Old San Francisco Steakhouse. The evening began with the Presentation of Colors by the Civil Air Patrol, the National Anthem sung by Mrs. Stella Rhodes, and an invocation by Secretary Sing Yue.
Honored guests included National President Kin Hui, SAPD Chief William McManus, Councilman Ric Galvan, Councilwoman Ivalis Meza González, and members from the Houston Lodge. Vice President Christina Lew served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
National President Kin Hui presented President Raymond Wong with a $2,000 “Big Check” in recognition of this milestone. Guests enjoyed performances by the San Antonio Lion Dance Association, erhu musician Eric Vasquez, and live music by a local guitarist.
It was a wonderful evening honoring 70 years of community, culture, and service.
5-7 Sep 2025. C.A.C.A. 58th National Biennial Convention
The National Biennial Convention was held in San Francisco and hosted by the National Lodge. San Antonio Lodge showed up in full force, with the third highest attendance behind San Francisco Lodge and Los Angeles Lodge. Our delegates worked hard on resolutions that will help drive our organization over the next 2 years.
27 Jul 2025. Bluff City Chinese film screening
"Bluff City Chinese" a documentary film about the history of Chinese Americans uncovered 150 years of Chinese immigrant history in Memphis, weaving personal stories, community voices, and archival research was screened as part of the 2025 San Antonio Film Festival. Thank you to MS Lodge Sister Emmi Dunn, the film's protagonist, for traveling to San Antonio to take part in the screening. 8 Jul 2025. Ella Flister Selected as 2025 National Intern
We are so very delighted to announce that our own Ella Flister, the daughter of proud Mom Carla Flister, was selected as C.A.C.A.'s 2025 National Intern. Ella is provided a stipend and is spending her summer in Washington, DC working with our allied organizations to learn about the business of DC and to build her skills that will be very useful to advocate for our community.
Ella is the second National Intern since the program was initiated in 2024 by National Vice President - Education, Helen Ying.
11 Jun 2025. The Passing of Esther Wong
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and Past Lodge President Esther Wong, who left us on 11 Jun 2025. Esther was a kind and generous soul whose warmth, laughter, and friendship touched the lives of many. Her presence will be greatly missed, but their memory will live on in our hearts.
